It's 12:22 p.m. ...

...and I'm taking a break from boxes. Taking a break to write thank you notes with
my candy cane pen (with ink that smells like peppermint!), sipping my tall, non-fat, no-whip, two-pump mocha while glancing up occasionally to appreciate the progress we've made in turning this home back into house.

Wishing you all the best, that is a LOT of work- but so worthwhile. Can't wait to see your new place! Does it have a nice area for sewing/crafting!?! =D

Cas...it'll be fun to be able to paint, etc this time around! I'll welcome all ideas and suggestion!

Lisa...there's a room downstairs that they call the laundry room. However, it's somewhere between 18 and 20 feet long. I'm thinking it would be a perfect place to sew and scrapbook. There's also a shop in the back that looks like a little cottage. My mom and I thought it would be a great scrapbooking/sewing house, but Bob vetoed that. He thinks it should be a shop! Can't believe that man sometimes! :)

I thought it should be a mother-in-laws cottage but neither Bob or Katie agree! I bet Ryan and Emma would!

ohh...I know how much work it is to have to pack up and move!! It'll be fun to get your own home though and paint and decorate it exactly how you want. I think you and your Mom need to vetoe Bob and turn that shop into a sweing/ scrapbooking cottage!! ;)

The "laundry room" would be great! My "crafting room" has a little closet area for laundry and it's great; I can sew, keep up on laundry, and the kids play there too. I'm sure you'll figure something out, you can't just not do anything crafty for tooooo long. ;) I about went crazy when we moved and my sewing room was full of boxes, and the fabric was somewhere in them. But there was enough unpacking to keep me occupied. Terrible "all-day" sickness and two little ones was a deterrent too. =)

.... and I do enjoy my nice workspace, and feel bad Tyler doesn't have even a garage to work in. Someday...
