Montezuma's Castle

This was SO cool!

I've always wanted to see cliff dwellings.

It was so interesting to see the amazing architecture that

was built into the side of cliffs without any modern technology.

All of this is original, except the lower half has been coated with concrete to make is stronger.

The kids (especially Emma) wanted to see a rattlesnake up

close. Sadly, we only saw lots and lots of lizards.

(Nope, I wasn't one bit sad!!)

This is the bark of a tree that I found beautiful.
