A quiet evening at home

With Scouts starting up tomorrow, our evenings are going to start to get a bit busy.
We spent Monday night at home...enjoying our time together.
Emma is enrolled in a three-year music course. At the end of the three
years, she'll be able to play piano at an intermediate level, compose music and understand
music theory. She has class once a week and homework. She loves to
practice the tone bells, and we've all memorized the CD of songs.
Bob and Ryan started a game of Talisman. This was a game that
belonged to Bob's brother when he was a kid. The last time we were in La Grande with him, he gave the game to Ryan and his cousin. They share custody of it...trading it each time we
see him.
Em and I worked on a little Fall project.
Three nested wooden pumpkins (Craft Warehouse), scrapbooking paper, paint,
a little modge podge, dark brown ink pad and some sandpaper...

Em worked with beads while I painted
on the stinky modge podge.

Distressing the edges with a sanding block,
then running a light brown and dark brown ink pad along the edges.

I stole a few of her beads...and all done!
