Slow winter months

Our family loves to spend time outside, but January and February tend to be spent inside. It's sunny out, but windy and cold. It's a nice rest before the outside work begins in March.
So, here's a little of what we've been doing. Ryan has spent quite a bit of time reading, and some time on his DS.
Emma spends her time playing on the living room floor. I love how she combines all of her toys and makes up stories as she goes along.

Here's a little Pet Shop, Polly Pocket and Play Mobile mixed together.

Lots of crafts

Before tax season gets too busy, Bob and Ryan are spending some time on their Pine Wood Derby cars. Last year, they kinda threw them together at the last minute.
This year, they have plans of cool designs and speed!

I got Bob a Dremel for Christmas. They were excited to use it for the first time on the cars.
We did decide, however, that it would no longer be used in the kitchen.
Sawdust everywhere!

The kids cook at least once a week. It's so nice to see them work together.
What they choose is not usually the most healthy meal, but we always try to add a salad to the meal.

Emma is already borrowing my shoes! I can't believe she was able to walk in these!

I've been spending a bit of time on this. More pics after it's been delivered...
So that's what we've been doing. Not too exciting, but I had post something so I didn't have to look at the picture of the 1/4" masking tape every time I pulled up the blog. :)

I love the photo of Emma in your boots! Andy has been puting Breanna's hot-pink shoes on and tromping around the house, great laughs. They are only about 9 sizes too big. =)
And whatever you are quilting is beautiful, I love the colors!
