I'm sure tomorrow's list will be completely different...at least I hope it will.
Tonight, I'm thankful for...
the kids' bedtime
cold medicine
soft kleenex
flannel sheets
a good book
my sweet husband who tells me to go to bed
sore throat lozenges
one last conversation today with both Mom and Dad
comfortable sweats
and the reassurance that this, too, shall end.

As I head to bed, I think of the tournament game that our volleyball is playing...started three minutes ago. Good luck, and I'm sorry I couldn't be there. I hope your are
victorious tonight!

Well, dear, if you're a day behind me on the cold, you're nearing the end. I went to bed last night for the first time without prescription sudafed to help me breathe...and I can still breathe on my own this morning.
Problem is, Aislyn now has it.
Alas. Spring is coming!!!!!
Hi Katie - sorry to hear you're under the weather! You list sounds a lot like mine right now!! Both kids and I have this "crud" stuff. You didn't have a neti pot listed on the things you're thankful for so just incase you don't know about them I wanted to tell you to get yourself one. You get them at a pharmacy and they're WONDERFUL. I coulnd't live without mine. Here is a link to what they look like and a little bit of info. about them. If I lived closer I'd just bring you one, but since we're about a million miles apart I don't guess that'll happen. Get well!!

I'm SO sorry you're sick. And to top it all off, Mom's knee is messed up and she can't even bring you some good ol' homemade chicken soup!!! Darnit! If I was there, I'd bring you some. So how did that attachment work that I sent you? Did it print out OK? Looking forward to seeing you. Take care of yourself and get better.
