for dinner. The restaurant where he works had a Crawfish feed the evening before
and had ordered 40 pounds too many of the disgusting little critters. He brought home
ten pounds of the pinchy, slimy things.

In the photo above, Ryan had just gotten brave enough to hold one of the
oversized cockroaches. I was just getting ready to snap a photo when Max jumped at him (see that
arm in the left side of the photo) and yelled. I love the look on Ryan's face. Amazingly,
Ryan didn't drop the sneaky little pincher.

It was a lot of work to get them out of the shell, but once they were dipped (or saturated) in
sweet cream butter? Yum!!

where the tree used to be that was pulled out of the ground by last week's wind
storm. That's some wind!!

oh gross. I'm with Emma and Preethi on this one. And I don't think I would have eaten them either...
We don't actually host any of them, but we've been to plenty of crawfish boils down here in TX. It's definitely an experience. BTW, I totally remember the random photo thing...ha!
