The fruits of our labor

We've been thoroughly enjoying our garden this summer.
Ryan is the official garden checker. After letting the dog out in the morning, he
takes a trip through to see what's ripe and ready to pick. This is
two days worth of deliciousness!
I tried a refridgerator pickle recipe. We'll see how
they taste here in a few days, but they are sure pretty in the jars!
Both the cucmbers and the bell peppers are from our garden.
I found a delicious zuchinni bread recipe .
All of those lighter spots are bits of pineapple...delicious and moist!
This is my fifth or sixth batch of bread, and I have
lots of bags of shredded zuchinni in the freezer for this winter.
This has absolutely nothing in it from my garden, but I had to share this recipe.
I like to make chocolate chip cookies and send most of them to the office with Bob.
However, the past several batches have not turned out well. Instead, I've
been making the chocolate chip cookies bars. They are delicious and so much easier to make...
cook it all at once rather than batch after batch after batch...

Going to have to try some zucchini recipes this coming weekend/next week. The veggies are coming on strong, and we don't want them to go to waste!

Doesn't it just make you happy, all that pretty produce on the countertop!
