My "getting older" weekend

I had such a wonderful birthday weekend.
Mom came on Friday night and spent the night. We got up 630 for a walk,
got ready for the day and headed out. JoAnn's, Micheals, coffee from "The Human Bean" {oh my goodness...delicious!!}, Barnes and Nobles, Scrapbook store #1, and then scrapping at
Scrapbook store #2 from 1 p.m. to 930 p.m. The kids spent Friday night and Saturday on the farm and then went to the races on Saturday afternoon/evening. Bob had the whole day to himself. What a great day for everyone!!
I got our beach book caught up and then decided to make cards.
I made 24...so it was a productive evening!

After meeting on Sunday, we spent the day together.

In the afternoon, we went to the MK Nature Center. The kids love to
walk around and see the fish. In one spot, we saw a fish that was at least
6 feet long. Ryan wanted his pole so badly! This time, the inside part of the center was open.
We had never been in there...pretty cool. Lots of hands-on displays.

There were some REALLY scary animals in there!
Some stuffed ones, too.

What Mom and Dad look like from Emma's point of view.

How I see Ryan most of the time now.
Photography is one of his new favorite things.

We ended the day with a picnic and some playtime at Municipal Park.
