Welcoming a new little one

While Bob and Ryan went to the Pumpkin Patch with Ryan's Scout den (sadly, no pictures as

the camera wasn't working), Emma and I headed out to the country for a

surprise baby shower for a dear friend

Her son is scheduled to make his appearance next month.

The hostess, Dee Anne, is very creative with her decorating!

My gift...all wrapped up in a receiving blanket.

Dee invited just as many as would fit around her table.
She made a delicious pot of Chicken Tortilla Soup...

...and had the best cupcakes I've ever tasted. Yum!

I don't remember Mom taking this photo, but...wow...do I ever look happy! :)

It was so nice to put a little one to sleep again.
